No Ground Cover. Steer clear of planting ground cover. Unless you want to be pulling grass and weeds out of your flowers everyday, I’d suggest you not plant ground cover. I had a variety of ice plant and creeping jenny all over my rock walls. It looked awesome until grass took it over. I looked and looked for spray that would kill the grass but not the plants. The nurseries and chain stores could never recommend a product that would work. After all the frustration, I pulled everything up except for the perennial plants and trees. Dang, I haven’t pulled a weed in a month! It’s been awesome and so worth it!
