I’m sure Frozen is just as popular at your house as it is at mine. I now know all the words to “Let It Go.” As this has been such a huge hit among everyone of every age, throwing a Frozen themed party would be a party success. Here are some ideas to help you throw that perfect party…
This is something the hubs and I did when it was STILL too cold to camp. I was really itching for an under-the-stars experience. So, instead of risking frostbite and pneumonia, we improvised with an indoor camp-out (camp-in?). Here is what we did:
The setting. We forwent setting up the awesome tent we got for our wedding, but we did inflate the air mattress and set it up in the living room for an open-air feel. The idea was to get glow-in-the-dark stars to put on the ceiling so we could gaze up at them while we fell asleep, but we could not find them at any dollar store or grocery store ANYWHERE! But we’ll definitely get them for next time.
So, my husband’s birthday is coming up and I really want to throw him an awesome party. But to throw an awesome party, you need an awesome theme, right? Well, adult themes can be kinda boring. So I asked him to name something he loved from his childhood. His answer: POWER RANGERS! So, without further ado, here is a collection of great ideas for a throwback Power Rangers party:
- Color scheme: the colors of the rangers—blue, red, black, pink, and yellow
- Invite your guests to be part of the décor by wearing the color of their favorite Power Ranger. They can even come in full costume if they want to! (My husband’s fave is the red ranger—I’m going to try to convince him to get all decked out). You can buy costume t-shirts here: www.tvstoreonline.com.
- Hang paper lanterns in all the ranger’s colors.
