Football Score Toss
What you need: 1 6×8 tarp with rivets on the corner, duct tape, permanent marker, rope.
Preparation: Cut different shapes out of the tarp. Lay the tarp out flat in a large room. Place tape on the tarp in the desired shape. Then run your scissors along the inside of the tape. Secure the cut out with more tape or the tarp will rip. Write different amounts next to each shape so the kids can keep score.
How to play: Have each child take turns throwing footballs through the tarp. They enjoy keeping score to see who has the highest score.
Note: Have lots of balls, 2 buckets is best, or the kids will be waiting around and get antsy. We had very windy weather when we hung ours, so we had to tie our tarp up all over the place. We couldn’t tie it between our trees because the balls would have hit the dog kennel, so we tied it between out two stationary umbrellas.
