Cupcakes: To save time, I use white Betty Crocker box cake mix and make my own frosting.  I use the buttercream frosting recipe on Food Network from Magnolias Cupcakes.  I rolled the edges in either blue or white sugar crystals to make them shine.  For the little sugar snowmen, I bought those as seconds at the Peppermint Place Factory Store in American Fork, Utah.  This place is amazing for parties!  I got about 3 dozen snowmen for $1.99.IMG_4895IMG_4904
