Healthier Dessert Options

April 20, 2018 by Paige Leave a Comment

I went to a homeopathic clinic to find some help for my son with ADHD who always seems to be getting in trouble at school for talking too much. We don’t want to medicate to we felt like this was a good option. The staff talked to us about his diet. She said it is so common that people medicate their kids after feeding them foods full of sugar and dyes expecting their kids to stop being hyperactive.

I feel like I feed my family a pretty healthy diet, but I could always do better. After feeling at a loss and wanting to help improve my sons behavior, I’ve tried to find more recipes with less sugar. At first he felt deprived, but then he started to really like some of the foods he was eating. Overall I think it has helped.

I think it’s impossible and unfair to cut out all dessert so I found these delicious recipes that are paleo and vegan friendly. They have ingredients such as coconut oil, honey and greek yogurt to name a few. Hopefully these “cleaner” options will give your tastebuds a ride.

Keto Recipes Worth Trying

August 30, 2017 by Paige Leave a Comment

The Keto diet is the new hype. According to Ruled.Me it is a low carb diet that is know to help with weight loss, control blood sugar and increase mental performance. Some like to use a supplement to maximize the potential of the diet. You might find it helpful to read an Approved Science Keto review. I personally eat a low carb diet and it makes my belly feel much better than when I load up on carbs. This is a life style change and can be adapted to most recipes. When I feed my family tacos, I skip the tortilla and place all my topping on a sliced avocado. Holpefully you’ll find something tasty to try and benefit from all te good things a low carb diet offers.
