Aprons. As the party guests arrived, we tied an apron around each girls waist. I had waited for the Easter items to go on sale after the holiday and then bought as many as I needed. I ended up making these simple dish towel aprons for 75 cents each. I simply sewed one straight line through a piece of ribbon along the top of each towel. I had my husband slightly burn the edges of each ribbon stran to prevent fraying. Not only were these super inexpensive to make, but super quick! For the birthday girl, I grabbed a soft canvas chef hat at Gygi’s (a kitchen store in Salt Lake City) and also added an extra ribbon along the bottom of her apron.
